This is to bring the development team to the attention that they don't need to use captcha every time the logged on person tries to post something on discussion.
It's normally done at the logon level in the rest of the world.

I found that you can void selecting bunch of pictures by simply first trying to post without it, then check you're not robot and then it will let you post without filling up bikes buses and boats...
