Can anyone suggest a decent subwoofer cable that is about 35 feet long.

I soon will need a cable for a subwoofer that needs to be about 35 feet long.
It doesn't have to be of the high end audio quality (I doubt that I could afford that), just a good reasonably priced long cable that can be used with a subwoofer, either in RCA or XLR.

dweller,

Sounds like it is because the line level signal comes from the preamp, while the speaker line is from the speaker. Different sources of current. Go with whatever sounds the best.

FYI - I have always used the "line-in" option with powered subwoofers. Just recently, I ran some speaker wire from the speaker posts to the subwoofer. For whatever reason, I no longer get that annoying "thump" when I turn the subwoofer on/off. That's a pleasure!

I've been quite happy with my Kimber Kable Cadence, which is subwoofer specific (whatever that means). If your system is truly balanced go xlr and I wouldn't sweat the brand.
I recommend Signal cable. I have two REL cable runs that are basically this long and the cables sound good.
tgrisham, grannyring,

I forgot about Mogami cables and I will check out the Blue Jeans cables.
Thank you

I have used Blue Jeans cable for long runs of both RCA and balanced. They are reasonably priced and well made. I also agree with Guitar Center for Mogami balanced cable but it might be more expensive. Nothing beats balanced for long runs to avoid hum and RFI/EMI.
dweller,

Thank you. I'll check it out.
I see Best Buy also sells a long cable (on their website).
