Cable TV music source

For convenience reasons, I would like to use the cable TV music channels to listen to music (my provider is Comcast/Xfinity). Does anyone know if they offer 'decent' quality audio channels?

What I randomly checked was sounding like my alarm radio clock.

Or find a cable TV channel that plays music in decent quality (no idea why they don't ALL do that, considering that even TV ads and talk shows are presented in high resolution).

Like all things, they commodified it. That, and nothing is really standardized yet and  they're all maneuvering to monopolize it (as much as they can).

All the best,

I even had problems using my 'AV' DVD (blueray) player to play my CDs. Constantly switched back to the 'tv', and every time I skip on the cd or move to a different title (AV DVD player connected via HDMI to receiver, and receiver to TV).

So I added my Marantz DVD player, connected to receriver via 'digital coax' cable. At leat that works now for playing DVD.

I guess i could use a very LONG usb c to HDMI cable to use my laptop.

I have DirecTV. Some of the channels are decent and some have poor sound quality. Depends on the channel.
