That’s a current model, isn’t it? If it’s working, why don’t you just get a really good DAC? Goodwins has a DCS Debussy up for $5900 with warranty. Do a little haggling and take it home. I honestly don’t think that you’ll significantly better what you have by purchasing another player in the 5k range, especially if you want SACD capability.  I haven't heard the Isis, but it's gotten raves from people who own them.  But it is CD only, I believe.

and thank you, yes it is a current model, but unfortunately it (along with my pool pump, and telephone system) got fried by lightning, I'm only interested in a c/d player, don't use computer songs or the like....

It’s unique features:

(1) it it is also equipped with a USB input port that is controlled from the remote control  into its high-end DAC to permit playing of digital files stored on a thumb drive or HD 
(2) REGA has two matched serial number transports stored for each unit out there so you never need to worry about trouble repairs 

I would purchase a used Esoteric player.  They are built to last a lifetime and do both Red Book and SACD. There are many in the up to 5K range.
