Aurender sound

I am looking at some of the lower tier Aurender servers.  Has anyone experience with the N 100 or ACS100 with respect to sonics?  How do they compare to Innuous etc.
Don't need Roon, so that is not an issue.
Thanks

I have owned both N100 and ACS100 and they offer outstanding sound and built quality. The Aurender Conductor iOS app is currently the best app outside Roon when it comes to functionality and ease of use. ACS100 makes more sense if you’re going to rip CD’s. Another big plus with ACS100 is its external “super capacitor” based uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for stabilizing the ACS100 under an abrupt power outage condition. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to properly isolate power supply from audio circuitry in a streamer.

ACS Manager iOS App is state of the art. The Smart Tag Editor application within ACS manager app allows modification of various metadata fields allowing user to correct the files tags to suit their music sorting requirements.
Good luck!
I just switched from an Aurender N100H to the Innuos Zen Mk3 and I must say that the Innuos beats the Aurender 90% of the time.
I was considering the new N200 but decided on the Innuos for a change after reading many good reviews about it.

The Innuos turned out to be very satisfying - airier highs, more holographic soundstage, better decay, higher resolution, better bass slam and definition, silkier midrange.

I could go on but enough said. Back to music. :)

Cheers! Jon.
I had a N100H in 2016 mated to a Wyred4Sound DAC2 DSD SE with Femto clock upgrade.  I liked the DAC as I had been using it with other components for a year prior.  I just couldn’t warm up to the N100H and it’s sound.  I compared it back and forth dozens of time with my Sony HAPZ1ES music player/ server and determined the Sony sounded better in my system.
I sold the N100H and bought another Sony server (yes, I have two) for my second system and have never looked back.  Also, I did not like the “Conductor” software the Aurender used.

Same here, except that I replaced an N100H with a Bryston BDP-3. I found the N100H to be buggy and the support - which the company is widely praised for - I found indifferent. The Bryston runs circles around it.
