Most streamers and servers are based on a single board with a chip based processor like an arm or veracite cpu and another set of chips which contain the operating system.

We import a line of completely modular servers 432EVO which are upgradable because they are fully modular no single board design

Instead we have a cpu board an ssd for the os and music storage and we have a separate soundcard and clock board so this design allows you to improve performance as new parts come out.

Dave and Troy, why do you chirp in on every thread about a specific product,  only to pitch the EVO 432?   Or another product?    You did this with the Aurender N200 I recently bought.   Who cares if it isn't hardware upgradable?   Lot's of things aren't  but are great products.   That product is super refined and is also flash upgradeable to an extent.    That Aurender was a perfect fit for me and sounds incredible. 

When you reached out to me about the 432 ,  I politely declined your offer to let me demo .  It actually rubbed me the wrong way that you were trying to pitch that while I was working on a deal with The Music Room  who is an authorized Aurender dealer.    They treated me great..   i was already intent on buying it.      I think I speak for many here that your sales tactics are a total turn off.
