Aurender A10 help

Got the A10 yesterday all hooked up and connected to the conductor app. Streaming Quobuz but getting no sound. Coltrane is playing and I see the meter jumping around but alas no sound. Any suggestions?

What equipment is the A10 connected to? And I assumed you checked to make sure no mutes were engaged or system volume turned down?

Going into my Luxman 509X, the Bluesound Node2 is working fine as is my turntable. I'll speak to the people who sold it to me on monday I guess. Very puzzling.

So if your Bluesound works, I would disconnect the Bluesound and connect the Aurender to those inputs.

Your Luxman has 4 unbalanced inputs and two balanced inputs. The most likely thing is somehow connected incorrectly. What is connected to what input?

Agreed when there is total silence it's almost always user error I say that from my own past experience.

Yeah I did that. Node2 works in line 1 but A10 does not. I should be able to talk from someone at The Music Room tomorrow. For once not operator error!

Aurender music servers only connect direct to the internet not through Roon or anything else. They only do WIFI to the controlling app, another Aurender needs to be hard wired by ethernet.

Hope this helps.

I suggest you connect your A10 to your Luxman amp and power down and restart your A10. Please check all settings on the Conductor App to ensure they are correct.

please double check the cables from your A10 to the Luxman to confirm the right outputs and inputs. Also, check the input mode on your amp. If still no sound, please call The Music Room. Please keep us posted.

Please also check your volume control on the A10.  The Manual says:

"7. Volume Knob

Manually adjust the DAC-level volume control. A10 Volume control can be configured or disabled in the Advanced 2 section of the Settings Menu in the Conductor app".   It is possible your volume control is not set correctly.

I am not familiar with the Aurender A10 so please double check ALL switches and settings to ensure they are set correctly.   Please keep us posted.

I did all these things numerous times to no avail. Now it says no connected device, yesterday it was connected but no sound even with volume high.

Please send Aurender a remote support request from your Conductor App:

“In many cases, if your Aurender is having problems, Aurender can diagnose and fix any issues via our Remote Support service.

To send a Remote Support request email, open the Conductor app and go to Settings>Help>Send Remote Support email. It will ask you to enable location services, which is normal”.

I suggest you still call The Music Room on Monday Is your Aurender A10 brand new or preowned?

I also do not understand the no connected device message. Please reboot your Aurender A10 again. Please keep us posted.

I found this in the A10 manual:

“If the Aurender is being used with a preamp or integrated amp that has volume control, it is recommended to turn "Use Direct Output" ON so that Aurender's DAC-level volume control is disabled. In this case the preamp or integrated amp will do its job as the volume controller without confusion from multiple levels of volume control”.

I give up. I have no clue why you are not getting sound. Please contact The Music Room and I also suggest an Aurender Remote Support request. Thanks.
