Are there any recording artists you just can’t listen too?

The Grateful Dead. Although my musical tastes have changed over the years, I still can't stand them.

Any band that spends more time on their hair than song writing.    

I have one from the past, and one present day.If anything from Peter Frampton comes on,I'm looking for the nearest exit! Apologies to Travis,but Taylor Swift doesn't do it for me! Overated!

Any of the "bubblegum" bands & music in the day would make me cringe, along with the Carpenters, Cowsills, Osmonds, etc. Vocalists for AC/DC, and other "screech" bands don't do it for me either. 

I'm left puzzled by the attack on James Taylor's instrumental prowess...forget the later, grating sappy songs...the man can play; methinks family dynamics are in the mix here.

At the end of the day I'm always reminded of the timeless Sly lyric: "different strokes for different folks".

Come on down to my gym and listen to the um, music broadcast in there.  Literally obscene and I was a sailor.  Someone might call it music.  I call it insulting and degrading to people.  There was a movie called "Tough Guys" with Kirk Douglas and Burt Lancaster.  A specific scene comes to mind.  And I don't use earbuds as they suck and I like to listen to myself puff and wheeze ;)
