Are manufacturer AC cables good enough?

I have two PS Audio AC3 and two Pangea AC 14 cables I don't use.  My thinking is that Ayre wouldn't supply cables that are inadequate for their components.  Is that thinking flawed?

The PCs provided are adequate. They are not great. The serious audiophile will replace them all.
The problem with talking to manufacturers is that half of them are as inexperienced on this issue as the hobbyists. Ok, well, probably not half. However, it is a shockingly high percentage of them that operate from received wisdom and theory, and have not even done comparisons themselves. I learned I could not simply take a respected manufacturer's word on all matters. They have blind spots, too.
About once each year a skeptic is brave enough to try and figures it out. At that rate by the end of the world the debate will be resolved.  ;)

I have always been amazed - but I shouldn't be - at how confused so many audiophiles are in regard to systems. Many of these posts read as guidance for "How to build a mediocre audio system".  :(

Then again, given the inherent irrationality/contradictions of Darwinism, and how many people uncritically accept that despite it's being scientifically falsified (insofar as soft science can be), it's no wonder they can't figure out how to advance an audio system to its full potential.

I'm not interested in arguing about my perspective.

Beautiful explanation of the cognitive dissonance, and overcoming it to gain benefits.
