any good concerts coming up where you live?

the summer is coming to an end,and i got the last week of august off from work and was wondering if there are any good concerts or festivals in your neck of the woods to attend.

Saturday I'm headin' on down to the Putamayo World Music Festival in Sedona, with Los Lobos, Zimbabwe's Oliver Mtukudzi and Black Spirits, and Geno Delafose (Louisiana zydeco). Should be fun!
Hey Aida-w,

Jethro Tull with full orchestra coming up at Tanglewood August 12th.

Regards,
A good source for concert infirmation is Pollstar.com. You may search by artist, city and/or venue.
thanks 4yanx, i live in miami but i'm looking to get away for couple of days.i'll take a look in ticketmaster like you said and see what's going on.
Seriously though, Opp, I don't know where you live but if a trip to the Bay Area is feasible during the last week of August, check out a site like Ticketmaster.com and do a search for that week for this area. Mindblowing variety of choices.
During the next thirty days there are a few coming to my area (within 50 miles). The condensed list as follows:
Heart, Widespread Panic, Bjork, Boz Scaggs, Manhattan Transfer, Alkaline Trio, Metallica, Limp Bizcut, Linkin Park, Deftones, Mudvayne, Hall and Oates, Kenny Logins, Tower of Power, Mariah Carey, The Crusaders, David Sanborn, Sammy Hagar, Chirs Isaak, Michael Franks, JVC Jazz Festival, Bruce Springsteen, Third Eye Blind, Human League, Jane's Addiction, Incubus, Audioslave, Earth Wind and Fire, Eagles, Joe Cocker, Los Lobos, Buddy Guy, Dave Brubeck, Gipsy Kings, Randy Newman, Joe Jackson, Alison Krauss, Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, Iron Maiden, Ray Charles, Ringo Starr, Al Jarreau, Steely Dan.

There are also about twice again this many but I just tried to include something that would appeal to most everyone. One of the benefits that can, for some, outweigh the mortgage costs in the Bay Area, California. And they wonder why some of the sports teams don't draw......

The only tour that piqued my interest was lollapalooza, but its outside, in the day time, and we hit 109 degrees today. We are seeing ol' Dave Gahan tomorrow. Too bad I listened to his album. I am praying for a couple DM covers.
