15 amp vs 20 amp

A couple of months ago I updated my listening room to include a 20amp line specifically for my big CJ monoblocks. They are plugged directly in to the outlets (one behind each amp). All other components are plugged into a PS Audio power center on a 15amp line. Wire used for the 20 amp line is 12awg.

I have two 20amp circuits for my equipment. I donr pull that much current but its nice to have the option

Waste of money. It would not change a single thing with your sound. At all. But worth the money if you're using a 32" subwoofer at reference levels.

ghdprentice, yes I have noticed that after putting my monoblocks on their own 20 amp line that there seems to be more weight to the overall presentation. It was a relatively easy and not very expensive upgrade to my system which I regret not making when we first moved into our new home here in Charleston almost four years ago. Live and learn.
