15 amp vs 20 amp

A couple of months ago I updated my listening room to include a 20amp line specifically for my big CJ monoblocks. They are plugged directly in to the outlets (one behind each amp). All other components are plugged into a PS Audio power center on a 15amp line. Wire used for the 20 amp line is 12awg.

ghdprentice, yes I have noticed that after putting my monoblocks on their own 20 amp line that there seems to be more weight to the overall presentation. It was a relatively easy and not very expensive upgrade to my system which I regret not making when we first moved into our new home here in Charleston almost four years ago. Live and learn.

What I can't tell is if the improvement is manifested via the amps being on their own electrical line, or if the improvement is from removing the amps from my power conditioner and thus allowing my source equipment to not share the same power source with the amps.
