Mogami Cables or Cardas Clear Light wit connector for 12' to 15' run from preamp to amp

I want to locate my Ayre VX-5 Twenty amp between the speakers with my Ayre KX-5 Twenty preamp about 12' away on an adjacent wall.  I bought 15' Mogami 2534 Gold Analog Reference Microphone cables to try.  But then I realized I have a pair of Cardas Clear Light cables that, although not quite long enough, might be connected with a male to female adapter to another pair of Cardas Clear Light cables I have to provide sufficient length.  I previously used the Cardas Clear Lights to connect the preamp and amp and use them for the other connections in the setup.  What's your advice, 15' Mogami 2534 or two Cardas Clear Lights connected via adapter?
