It's Back - Technics SL-1200 MKGAE
Don't know what other folks think, but I think this is huge news- if if the arm is better than on the last version, and the price is right, this could be a killer deck
Why I prefer gear that is made domestically
The best service experience I've had in turn around time was courtesy of Bryston. Shipped out on Monday- my amp was back on Friday! helps that I live in the northeast
Any love for the Phillips GA212 or 312?
Love the touch sensitive buttons-
I read this on another site

Where did you sink the most cash into?
The only surprise I have in the responses is that for a few, cabling has been the single biggest expense. In my system, I've probably put less but close to 10% for wire but my results are a bit skewed because I've built some of the power cords I u...
Speakers that are very accurate sounding but don't produce an emotional connection.
The Rectilinear speakers have been mentioned a few times in this thread. I relative has had a pair now for 40 plus years. First time I heard them, after helping lugging them into an apartment, I was blown away- they were that good . Heard them aga...
From everything I read
Much like obsolete cameras for which film is no longer available, an FM tuner, in a post FM world, would be nothing more than a static display piece. I suspect that initially, the value could plummet but in a 100 years, it may be worth some real m...
