Is there a Peter Principle of Audio…
The only Peter principle I know in audio is to always value the opinions and comments of Peter of PBN Speakers, a frequent visitor to AG

Enthusiast's Review A/B Focal Sopra 2 and Electra 1028be (II)
Listened to the Sopra 2's. Tried to like them. Preferred the Sopra 1's, and bought Revel Studio 2's after all that-
What's up with the ridiculous offers?!?
That's a great question - I think different people have different ideas of what a lowball offer is. In in my world, there are 2 types of offers- accepted offers and unaccepted offers- and that's whether I am a buyer or a seller.
Upgrade Linn LP 12 or buy new table
Good arm and table. Need a new belt, new oil for the bearing, new springs and grommets would be nice- all part of a tune up. Nice system

"I agree with jmcgrogan2, negotiation starts from someone making an offer and negotiate"negotiation stars the moment you list something for sale

Digital cable length- SPDIF vs AES/EBU- 1.5 meter for either?
I would not be surprised if cable designers do in fact lack knowledge. There’s one well known cable company that sells a digital 110 ohm cable, terminated in RCAs, which is way off base because SPDIF protocol calls for a 75 ohm cable while a 110 o...

I notice a lot of reviewers buy the sample piece
