klipsch speakers,be honest
I'm glad I'm not the only person using the word "obviating." And I bristle at comments relative to musical style driving speaker preference... "Also remember orchestral and classical music which was more dominant at that time, which made different...
For those of us over 60..
Little Feat during the Lowell George era, including Lowell's solo album "Thanks I'll Eat it Here" containing my favorite song (I just learned it...hey...I'm slow...), "20 Million Things" which is my theme song...it plays during the closing credits...
Bands with great second albums
Butthole Surfers "Rembrandt Pussyhorse."
Klipsch Palladium P39F and Probably the Entire line Major issue!
I bet if you send her a ticket, Elizabeth will come and fix them for you. She's nothing if not a mensch.

The mid horns in Heresy IIIs are smooth and accurate as long as clean amps are driving them. The 12" woofers in these may be "short throw" only because they're designed for impact to 58hz only...my "long throw" subs add the throwiness component to...
Might try a tube preamp
My NOS Sylvanias are NOT bright, noted by most reviewers of these things, and I also use NOS USA Amperex tubes, and NOS RCAs...Instruments certainly sound real, which I can verify by listening to actual instruments I often use as a life long music...
Klipsch Forte III--Pleasantly Surprised
Roxy54...I was noting you used the symbol " for a dimension description, one that is universally used as inches and not feet. Therefore I made a silly yet astonishingly hilarious comment regarding this gaff, which clearly spread joy and mirth to a...
Klipsch Forte III--Pleasantly Surprised
Roxy54...I think a 20" long room, at less than 2 feet, is somewhat smallish. Also, I hope to never ask mrdecibel about anything in the Oxford English Dictionary as the answer might lack brevity. And thirdly (thirdly?), I own a pair of these and I ...
Speed kills....
I've tried to outrun the sound of my Klipsch Heresy IIIs and it's impossible...fast...very fast...
Rega Brio R or Alex R for new Klipsch Heresy III's.
Also note that my chiming in is really based on the fact that I get excited when I notice that somebody bought Heresy IIIs...like I did last year...they’re GREAT speakers.
Talk but not walk?
Is it just me, or when you hear Pachelbel do you immediately think of Taco Bell? These are the types of cerebral questions that need answers. And brevity.
Total cost of ownership - how to reduce it
You can't reduce the total cost of ownership as that implies there is a total cost that's established, and you can only change the cost to yourself by owning something less costly. Or shoplifting. I hope this clears everything up. And I do mean ev...
Do speaker cables need a burn in period?
Wow...I can’t imagine anybody could possibly think my post about talking to Morrow about preferring the sound of non broken-in cables was anything beyond describing a funny conversation where the Morrow dude displayed a sense of humor. How tightly...
Rega Brio R or Alex R for new Klipsch Heresy III's.
Sorry man...my recommendation was WAY better.
Might try a tube preamp
My post was primarily in jest, had no misspellings or punctuation issues, and I don't actually care much about Don Sachs although I assume he's a wonderful designer and a true mensch, and I do hope to someday be his friend so we can perhaps shower...
