I've since changed to Audirvana since it bypasses all of the Apple software and provide a significant improvement in audio quality over BitPerfect

One thing I forgot to mention in the above post - Audirvana seems to integrate nicely with iTunes, which in turn works nicely with my droid app Retune, which I use for remote control.Finally this streaming thing seems to be coming together :-)

BTW that should have said 250-350 Mbytes - but I hope the later ref to 1 gig made that apparent.If it were me I'd do the pre-amp and amp upgrade before the DAC - get them settled first. You may find the DAC is not a good match to the pre-amp.What ...
