Will power cable work well as speaker cable?
@boxer12 - having tried many different cables types over the years I would not personally opt for a power cable to drive my speakers. The third conductor can cause lots of noise. There are lots of options out there and if you are looking for great ...

@asahitoro - the Node-2 responds very well to good cables -  IC's and PC's.I used a C7 figure-8 adapter, but eliminating the adapter and installing a Figure-8 plug  proved to be much better - I bought a figure-8 plug on the webSome very good PC's ...

CD players = dead?
@deepee99... but you’ve got to feed your server with something!Hmmm, until I "digested" your statement above, it never dawned on me that CD/DVD drives are also becoming less of a standard item on computers. My Mac only has an external CD/DVD drive,...

a beginner question about compatibility of cable metals for speakers (s video)
@rkrk - do you want to reproduce the full audio spectrum?Although @Almarg is probably right - in that the s-video cables may just get a little warm - I do not believe 26 or 28 gauge conductors will effectively deliver the full audio spectrum. What ...
Tenting home for termites
Do they use a gas - or is it some kind of vapor/mist/fog (i.e. wet)If the latter - I'd get my system out of the house - especially my speakers - they have paper cones.Thankfully - termites don't survive the winters up here in Canada!
