Any thoughts in ICE amps? H2O amps drive 1-ohm Apogee Scintillas!
Monarchy Audio M24 and DIP upsampler I think you're right. My Bolder-modded Squeezebox has low jitter already.
Monarchy Audio M24 and DIP upsampler I also own a M24 and am also interested in a technical answer from the pros here.
Line Array speakers? Anthony Gallo will soon offer his Reference 5 line array.
external x-over for sub.... There is a used Hsu Research High-end crossover for $199 right here at Audiogon.

German Physiks - A huge "wow" Csommovigo, how much are the Troubador 40 and 80 DDD satellites? They can be the base of a great, not very expensive system with two subwoofers such as JL Audio f112 and a TacT or DEQX digital integrator.
Best bang-for-buck purchase you have made? Monarchy Audio M24 DAC and preamp. My ACI Sapphire XL speakers also make a great bang for the buck.
Very inexpensive speakers for a 2nd system Castle went out of business recently and they are no longer made; they were $600 a pair new but should be well under that now. They probably had the best sound under $1,000.
Copland DRC205 digital room correction The Ashly 3.24 is new to me and very interesting. It appears the output delays are OK for typical subwoofer locations, but the manual doesn't say anything about maintaining phase linearity in the crossover filters.
Best New speaker under $5000 Nomad Audio Ronin RMD, maybe the best under twice that amount! |
