Rogue RP7 with a Musical Fidelity M6s PRX.  For new gear, on your budget I think that would be pretty fabulous.

I agree with the other folks here who mentioned a sub.  I would look at adding a very refined, sealed sub.  JL or REL make outstanding subs.  This will help deliver a bigger sound stage on a lot of tracks as you will improve accuracy and frequency...
Solid state amp to replace my Audio Research Ref 150 amp
A thought and I am sure no one has mentioned this...have you considered a Chord Ultima 6?  It delivers plenty of power for your needs.  It will still get hot when driven hard but the switching power supply helps keep the temp below 120 degrees mos...
Streaming Tidal from an Apple tv 4k box?
No idea but I am going to download the Tidal App on both my Apple TVs.  Thanks for sharing!
Basic Digital Audio Setup Advice
I signed up for Roon software and moved from a PC based system to the Nucleus+.  It made a HUGE difference.  There is so much else going on in a PC.  System monitoring and all sorts of stuff that you don't realize. Having a simple, dedicated devic...
Pre-amp selection advice needed
There are a million units that you could pick.  Budget is the biggest constraint as there are preamps that can be had for less than $1000 or you could spend $30,000 without blinking an eye. When taking into account the Hugo 2 a your DAC, my hunch i...
Need preamp recommendation
This is shockingly hard to find.  McIntosh C49 might be your best option in that price range.  Another would be the Mytek Manhattan ii.  Both are in your price range and do everything you need.  Lots of units with phono stages built in like the Mu...
What's the best integrated amp in the $1500-$2000 range?
I like the Rogue though I think rolling in different tubes is essential.  The stock JJs aren't bed but if you can roll in some NOS Mullards or Cifte's it takes it to the next level.  Another wonderful option is the Musical Fidelity M3si.  MF makes...
Neutral and open sounding 300B tubes
Have you thought about KRs?  One of the things that is interesting about the KRs is that they offer a higher plated dissipation than a typical 300B, 50w vs. 40w.  Wonderful all around tube that will bias a little higher without compromising tube l...
Recommendations for a stereo power amp with a XLR/RCA input switch around $2k
I like the MF a lot and think it would be a good match with your Cary. The MF is naturally slightly forward and combined with the slightly warm nature of your Cary preamp, I think you would end up in a very Happy place.Incidentally, a lot of deale...
A good preamp to use with a Bryston 4B ST?
For used I would see if you can find an Ayre K5xeMP.  It is an outstanding unit for the money and will work very well with the Bryston.  You should be able to find these used in the ~$2K range.  For new, check out the Musical Fidelity M6S Preamp. ...
Looking for an integrated amp around 4000 to 5000.
What about a Musical Fidelity Nu-Vista 600?  I can get a refurbished unit for you in Black for $5k.  200 watts and it is a pretty amazing amp that will work well with your existing equipment.  Normally this unit is $8K new.  PM Me if you are inter...
Portable DSD/DAC Headphone Amp for iPhone?
I am a Chord Dealer and Chord makes a couple devices. For a very good Solution:  The Mojo is a wonderful portable DAC.  You can connect directly to it with the Apple Camera connector and then plug a USB into it.  The Mojo is $499 and i think the ad...
Monitors and speaker stamds?
I use IsoAcoustics Orea pucks.  A nice clean surface s required on both sides but they have suction cups on top and bottom and do a nice job of holding things in place.  It is also better to isolate your speaker from the stand than isolating the s...
Vivid Audio alternatives
Vivid is a tough one because their products are so unique.  Fiberglass cabinets (which matters) and custom drivers that are designed for optimal interaction.  You might look at Wilson Benesch, Marten and Rockport. How big of a speaker are you looki...
