Questions from a new Loricraft user Let me be a bit more specific. Leave the arm in place. there is a little tube that starts by the spool and goes over the top of the arm and down. thread that first. Then thread it through the little plastic liner of the return to the bottle. It wi...
Questions from a new Loricraft user Rethreading the Loricraft is a time for patience. With the pump on the only real difficulty if getting it from the spool to the end of the arm where the tip is. Once there it goes somewhat easier to get it to the bottle. Not difficult but far from...
Mstislav Rostropovich has died at the age of 80 A shining example of of music being not only a thing of beauty but also of truth
I just wanted to play a record to paraphrase a song, "He may be right, you may be crazy, but if its an audiophile, it may just be the lunatic your looking for." Play the record and slip into the music, and relax, enjoy and flow
Best Place for Negative Reviews? Audio is a very, underline very, subjective experience/hobby/addiction. Reviewers do their best, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but they, like we have their biases. Do you really like hard rock and the thump of a drumkit or are you more into...
The best feature I ever had Bose makes a radio/cdp that has an alarm feature that gradually wakes you up with incresing noise/sound/music as you choose. Great alarm clock

What equipment do you most regret parting with?? Conrad Johnson PV 11 with phono and the MV52 amp, would have worked great for a second system. sigh
Is analog & vinyl anoying? Is it worht it. One of the things that appeals to me about vinyl is the amount of time it takes. Cleaning, set up, etc. It gets my attention out of whatever else is/was going on and by the time the music plays I am fully ready for it. A little bit of mindfullness...
Regardless of how much you've spent... From the days when TV's were only in Black and White and ours came with a record player as well. It took over my attention much more than TV. Followed quickly by my older brothers record player in which the front side had a speaker in it, and some...
Power Conditioners Suited to Digital Front End My vote goes for Sound Applications, check out their web site and then do a search, there is a 12-XE available for under $1500 and well worth it. Workes for me. Six digital sockets six analog sockets. Keeps everything separate. YMMV
HELP My whole system all powers up but NO SOUND Is everything else on the circuit working? While highly unlikely could a breaker have switched off or a fuse have blown? Since it seems unlikely everything would have gone have you checked this?Michael |
