Negative Feedback a deal killer?
Dob, as long someone is receiving financial gain beyond the customary hobbyist buying and selling, I think it appropriate that the potential for a conflict of interest exists. I welcome and applaud those in the business that provide a disclaimer f...

Al, another great post!
Negative Feedback a deal killer?
Perhaps I've brought this up before, if I have please forgive me. As I understand it great deals of negative feedback are often used in Class D amplifiers. One poster has already commented that since it is done at much greater speeds, the lag is i...

High End Audio and Your hearing as you get older
Nonoise, I suspect that brain filling might become fatiguing, and without the regular calibration that younger folks enjoy, perhaps even unreliable. As the clip that Ballan linked suggests, that doesn't mean that our listening experience is withou...

Dhohnson54, thank you for your thoughtful response. I really don't know for sure whether or not what I suggested is true or not. I suspect that it might be akin to losing one's taste (or sensation thereof) of oil in a salad, without that counter b...
