Memory Players
FWIW, I find the idea of using flash memory very intriguing.

I go to shows, listen to other's systems, etc. If I go to a shop to audition gear, I go with intention of buying if I like the gear. I don't try to compare the prices of new gear from those with overhead to the prices of used gear from those that ...
Has LED caught up to Plasma?
Lloydc, I believe many would suggest that the very(!) expensive Qualia 2005 LEDs performance was surpassed by the Pioneer Elite Kuro plasma. Of course it's a moot issue, neither are readily available today.

Home Theater vintage Thiel set up question
The CS 2's are probably the easiest of Thiels ever made to drive. The Cs 3's are much more difficult to drive. Not only is the impedance lower, the equalizer puts significant demands on the amp. Furthermore, the top end of the CS 3's just might be...
Home Theater vintage Thiel set up question
If you've got the space, absolutely not. I would recommend better amplification though.
