how make your speker faster Isn't that part of the typical frequency response measurement?
how make your speker faster Keep in mind that the Quads that can produce a credible square wave do so due to the concentric wiring that disperses the wave form in a timely manner.
New offrerings and MSRP Fair pricing is always(?!) 80% of MSRP and should(?!) be assumed that was paid in considering selling prices in the used market?
how make your speker faster Some other speakers that can produce a credible square wave include: Ohms with genuine Walsh drivers, Dunlavy's, Green Moutains, Thiels, Vandersteens, perhaps others too.
When to go solid state vs. vacuum? Choose your speakers first, then what type of amplification best suits those (1)speakers and (3)upstream components, within your budget, in your room, at the volume levels you desire, with sound characteristics that are most important to you, best...
Vandersteen 3/3A vs KEF 107.2's I wouldn't expect a huge difference, perhaps the KEF's bass might be a bit tighter (though your room might have more to do with this), and the Vandersteens might be a bit more coherent. IMHO, the Vandersteens are the better value. YMMV.
how make your speker faster There are a few other speakers that can produce a "credible square wave".
Ayre V-Kxe and Thiel 2.4s Thanks for the update. I'm not at all surprised that the combination of the 30 and Thiel subs provided the most satisfaction. Enjoy!
how make your speker faster As my Canadian friends might say; "Too fast and you might lose details, a?":-)

Music that everyone else loves but you just don't Ragge; to my ears most of it sounds like a never ending loop of boom, pop, tch, tch. I also don't care for all those melancholy, flat singing female Brazilian Jazz vocalists. To each his own, YMMV, etc.,etc..
Speaker Placement Issue/Thoughts I suggest making an appointment with an audiologist.
THIEL CS3.7 Anyone heard them? Just a reminder; bass response can be room sensitive. |
