Are cable recommendations worth anything?
@soix Thanks.
Are cable recommendations worth anything?
@soix I took your advice and read through your previous responses and I humbly offer you my apologies. Unfortunately, I overreacted to a perceived lack of character that doesn't exist and for that I am truly sorry.Despite what you may think, this ...
Are cable recommendations worth anything?
@soix 20+ years of doing something does not necessarily make someone more caring or more willing to answer a simple question Sometimes it just makes them jaded. Have a good night and remember to wear a mask.
Are cable recommendations worth anything?
@soix According to your profile you have asked 32 questions, but have provided 3,208 responses. According to those metrics, it seems that there are very few instances of you not sharing your opinion."I’d never approach someone like that by being m...
Are cable recommendations worth anything?
@soix You are certainly bright enough to understand that not everyone is capable of conveying the minutiae of what they are looking for as eloquently as yourself. It is also true that someone relatively new to this site probably hasn't learned how...

Flat screen between speakers, again.

Flat screen between speakers, again.
@tuzarupa The rear of my speakers are 22" in front of the TV and the speakers are spaced only slightly wider than the width of the screen. The TV screen is angled slightly down to align with me when seated. Another member extolled the virtues of s...
Flat screen between speakers, again.
@glennewdick I will definitely give the angling a try. I have a TV mount that allows for angling and of course it is currently set up to direct everything directly at my head.
Flat screen between speakers, again.
@sojourn98  Funny thing is I actually have several cheap styrofoam absorption panels that I was going to experiment with.
Flat screen between speakers, again.
@greenhorn20 Thanks for the feedback and sharing part of your journey. Oddly enough, the picture you supplied looks very similar to what I imagined mine to look like when complete. I am currently building two short racks used 1.25" walnut shelves ...
Flat screen between speakers, again.
@twoleftears "Moral of the story: the most obvious place for acoustic treatment may not be the most effective."You mean like finding out that the best place for your sub is in front of a doorway?
