Harley Benton Mighty-15TH Test
So you recommend an amplifier that you also sell. I'm so surprised. Doesn't that completely invalidate your "review" and recommendation? You also seem to have no idea about the audience you are selling to on this site. I would suggest switching...
Sansui Au9500 - Leave it on?
I bought one when it came out back in the 1970's and a part of me still misses it. Always loved the sound and the switches and knobs had a strangely sensual feel. As to leaving it on, sorry I can't help.
BluSound Node and Node 2
Had a Bluesound Node for years and had no issues at all. Have since upgraded to a Lumin/Denafrips combo and I am very happy. Not sure why you are a such a glitch magnet with your Nodes, but good luck with things.

Sound quality of Roon
After reading the comments on this post, one thing has become clear. There is no consensus on the benefits of Roon, in fact, it seems to me that people hear what they want to hear. My belief is that people subliminally convince themselves that t...
What I really hate about some music
@tylermunns  "When one says Neil Young can “barely hold a tune,” and has “no vocal range,” it makes me wonder if they’ve ever heard Neil Young before." My comments were made to illustrate a point and sound a bit harsh in retrospect. Believe me,...
What I really hate about some music
For the most part I agree with your assessment, but if I could be so bold as to add another peeve to the list. 5. Songs that have absolutely nothing to say. Songs where the lyrics have no emotional or intellectual content whatsoever. If I disagr...
Does a DAC need a large/strong power supply?
@koestner  "Does a DAC sound better with an overkill power supply?" On the surface, you seem to be asking an honest question, but your ASR bias is made obvious by the use of the word "overkill". If you already see a beefy power supply as "overk...
Please share photos of your Vinyl cabinet/shelving
@sbrownnw  As you can see from other posts that it is indeed possible to add photos to your post. Personally I use Imgur. Just upload the photo to Imgur, copy the link, then use the picture upload feature by pasting the URL. Like this.
Dali Euphonia vs Helikon
I don't see anything. Oops, sorry I had my eyes closed.  Image post worked great.
Connecting dual subwoofers to a stereo preamp
@udo  Have you done any research into implementing a "distributed bass array"? Sometimes it is referred to as a "swarm". It uses 4 subs, not 2. Pre-out left and right are sent to a crossover unit like the MiniDsp 2x4, where a crossover frequency...

Why Music Has Lost it’s Charms (Article)
@bigtwin  "You haven't become your father" I am 67 as well and when I was in my teens, I not only listened to popular music, but also to old blues guys like Howlin' Wolf, Otis Spann and John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers. I listened to the Mill...
