Best balanced signal cable
I found a bargain with MIT's EXP Proline series (not sure of exact model). I'm also not one who hears much difference in quality ICs so after experimenting with some fairly high priced cables I got a deal on the MITs and have been happy with them....
CD Baby
Used them several times over the years with excellent results.BUT WAIT!! Reading this post made me realize I ordered a cd a couple of weeks ago and have yet to receive it. All the usual email traffic but no delivery. Thanks for the reminder.
Best all around speakers
Mrtennis,if you can listen to any recording , even one of poor quality without running out of a room, you probably have found an "all around speaker".Well said. Listening to Radiohead "OK Computer" or Santana "Abraxas" has caused me to sell speake...
Best all around speakers

Brass speaker spikes
partsexpress. Or search "speaker spikes" on ebay. I've purchased from both with good results. I've also used the Soundcity products, nice stuff.

Speaker cables.. Budget again.. With a twist...
Which side of this debate has the most enthusiastic "Pie-Eyed Pipers?"
Speaker cables.. Budget again.. With a twist...
Obviously a degree in engineering(of any kind) does nothing for one's auditory perception.Of course the key word here is "perception." I would argue that the knowledge gained through acquiring an electrical engineering degree would affect one's he...
Still miss ya JG even after all these years
I listened to Kula Shaker the other night and after the song "Grateful When You're Dead/Jerry Was There" ended I had to pop in "Working Mans Dead."You could feel it.
Speaker cables.. Budget again.. With a twist...
Musicnoise the word is voila, not wallah. Engineers can't spell worth a darn.
Switch to silver for a treble boost?
This really begs the question, what speakers are you using?
