Can't decide on Integrated Amp - Please Help Nothing on your list is a slouch. Just comes down to taste. For me, I'd look at Coda or Ayre. Good Luck, Tim
Which Class D / gainclone for 1st row presence? I have the Abletec modules that you mention. I built it last summer. It is dubbed my summer amp. I also own a beautifully modified Pure Class A Sumo Nine... my winter amp. The Abletec is a fine sounding amplifier. Deep, tight bass, fast and smooth...
Let's play the "what if" game Hi Zavato, Yes, recommendation... start with the perfect triangle set up... Meaning if your speakers are 8 ft from your ears, make them 8 ft apart, then use a full tow... On Revel F30's, point the midrange directly at your ears. This formulation h...
Pass XA-30.5 and PSB Synchrony One Sorry, XA 30.5
Pass XA-30.5 and PSB Synchrony One XA 3.5 will drive these speakers fine... It is a Class A unit, but Not a PURE Class a Unit. It is biased to run Class A for its first 30 watts into 8 ohms... In reality, when it switches to A/B, it will run 120 to 130 watts 8 ohm and somewhere nea...

NAD vs. MF Amp - best match best choice? Well, I guess this is what you get when you ask for opinion... a cluster...Overall, I'd take Musical Fidelity. I've certainly never thought of them as etched ...meaning slightly harsh or grainy in any way... On the other hand I do agree that the 3...
Has anyone heard the Legacy Aeris? I've heard both speakers, they are both Phenomenal... Just depends on your taste in speakers and amplifiers. The Sony's are like 88db 4 ohm and the Aeris are like 95.5 4 ohm....
Legacy Whisper DSW Clarity Edition?? Zephyr is correct....ALL Legacy speakers are built in Springfield Illinois. Bill is a sweetheart of a guy and I'm sure will show you around if you stop by.
PASS SR1 anyone ? I saw that you posted the question on diyaudio, I'm surprised Nelson hasn't answered there, he most likely will. In the mean time, the link below request a demo of Pass goods. Input what you are after and you will hear from them. Good Luck, Tim ht...
Help finding a Mid-Sub How can anyone answer his question with such incomplete information? ZD542 I'm with you????
Help finding a Mid-Sub So is your goal, Replace the midbass in your home theater speakers or build new front mains for your home theater? If it doesn't get too boomy, you might try raising the crossover point on your sub woofer... try around 125 to 150hz.
Preamp: adjustable impedance + GAIN Well, I recommended this once before, You didn't say anything in that thread, but it answers what you are looking for. http://www.coda-continuum.com/product/index.phpI've never seen a preamp with adjustable input impedance.Coda is a group of engin...
