Chord Qutest——>No difference Time and money, we all have that hill to overcome in this hobby
Chord Qutest——>No difference Teh-chuckles i experimented with and found 2v worked best for me. But I think that is really pre-amp specific, I have an audio research. I did contact AR as I was concerned 3v might be too much, but they said it wasn’t. Anyway it sounds like ...
Chord Qutest——>No difference I owned this combination and noticed the Qutest brought more warmth and definition to the sound field. So I am surprised to hear your response to the change. I had traded a Rega DAC in on the Chord so I never really used the Bluesound direct to th...
MX-151 When you unplug the unit, do you press any buttons while unplugged? It helps to drain any stored capacitance by pushing buttons. That will help on the reboot process, but it sounds like you have a processor that is hanging up. I had a similar issu...
What happened to all the highend stereo shops Agreed, at 67 I remember the small city I live in back when it was about 50000 population. At that time it had 3 shops that carried at least 3-4 higher end brands and a few lower priced. They had passion for music and wanted to help the customers ...
Chord Qutest question I had a Cutest and yes you have 4 inputs that can be assigned to individual sources. One of the reasons I traded up to the Hugo TT2 was the remote for the switching on inputs as well as filter. You have a great DAC in the Cutest, enjoy.
So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu? Porcupine Tree Arriving somewhere but not here
Probably a dumb question Contact the manufacturer and ask for a list of dealers nationwide. Then contact those dealers to see if they have any trades, they would have an idea what kind of shape the units are in, by knowing the customer that traded it in.
Broken banana plug and stuck in amplifier Any chance you can insert a drill bit that is smaller than the piece you are trying to remove? Wedge it in there and spray a small amount of WD40 to reduce any friction, then using pliers turn the bit to a point of engaging the banana piece the pu...
So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu? Mine was a vitamin, so: Flintstones meet the Flintstones, their the modern stone age family, from the town of bedrock…. I wish it was available on 180 gram colored vinyl, though
Tina turner Dead at 83 No other cover of Proud Mary can top Her and Ike’s version. Hard to imagine that she has come to her end. R.I.P.
Why are People Dumping their Audio Research Gear and What Does it Say about them? When I first read that they (ARC) had gone into receivership, my knee jerk reaction was to sell my LS28SE and gather whatever it would bring and buy something else. Then I realized that I loved the sound of this piece and it works just fine, why j...
Who turns center off when listening to music My pre-pro isn’t even on when listening to 2 channel music. I have a separate amp and pre-amp for 2 channel and use HT pass thru on that part of the system for 5.1. Also I only have my sub hooked up to the pre-pro.
Gordon Lightfoot, Canadian folk legend, dead at 84 Truly an icon of the music world. I have always loved his writing and am deeply saddened by this news. I can’t imagine how music and songwriting today would be the same without his contributions. I am a big fan of Bruce Cockburn, a fellow Canadian...
Tim Bachman of BTO passed at 71 Also to tony1954’s point,I would add, then why are so many classic rock albums being remastered and re-released on audiophile pressings? It’s what I listen too 85-90 percent of the time, if I’m dead, rigor hasn’t set in….completely. |
