So you just took a gummie...What song is on the menu?
Porcupine Tree Arriving somewhere but not here
Probably a dumb question
Contact the manufacturer and ask for a list of dealers nationwide. Then contact those dealers to see if they have any trades, they would have an idea what kind of shape the units are in, by knowing the customer that traded it in.
Broken banana plug and stuck in amplifier
Any chance you can insert a drill bit that is smaller than the piece you are trying to remove? Wedge it in there and spray a small amount of WD40 to reduce any friction, then using pliers turn the bit to a point of engaging the banana piece the pu...

Mine was a vitamin, so: Flintstones meet the Flintstones, their the modern stone age family, from the town of bedrock…. I wish it was available on 180 gram colored vinyl, though

No other cover of Proud Mary can top Her and Ike’s version. Hard to imagine that she has come to her end. R.I.P.
Why are People Dumping their Audio Research Gear and What Does it Say about them?
When I first read that they (ARC) had gone into receivership, my knee jerk reaction was to sell my LS28SE and gather whatever it would bring and buy something else. Then I realized that I loved the sound of this piece and it works just fine, why j...
Who turns center off when listening to music
My pre-pro isn’t even on when listening to 2 channel music. I have a separate amp and pre-amp for 2 channel and use HT pass thru on that part of the system for 5.1. Also I only have my sub hooked up to the pre-pro.
Gordon Lightfoot, Canadian folk legend, dead at 84
Truly an icon of the music world. I have always loved his writing and am deeply saddened by this news. I can’t imagine how music and songwriting today would be the same without his contributions. I am a big fan of Bruce Cockburn, a fellow Canadian...

Also to tony1954’s point,I would add, then why are so many classic rock albums being remastered and re-released on audiophile pressings? It’s what I listen too 85-90 percent of the time, if I’m dead, rigor hasn’t set in….completely.

I was totally unaware. Disappointed that anyone resorts to such crimes against children. As if the world isn't enough of a challenge for a child. Thanks for sharing. It's not like he was a hero. I was just sad to see another loss to my musical pa...
Audio Research in Receivership.
I am on my 3rd AR pre amp and have loved all three. I would hate to see them go, but I really can’t imagine that someone wouldn’t come along and save them from total demise. Maybe Fine Sounds will buy them back, I would imagine that it is not lack...
Bluesound Node 2 producing distortion and dropouts
I just read on the Bluesound site that the 3.20.49 is only applicable to the Node (latested version node) and not the 2 or 2i. So back to square 1.
Bluesound Node 2 producing distortion and dropouts
I am happy to hear that it was an update issue amd the new update seems to be resolving these issues as per a few members that have reported. My problem is that when I try to install or request an update via the uprade button, get the response "No...
Bluesound Node 2 producing distortion and dropouts
I will look in the Primare, we have a good dealer locally. Also I have looked into the Cambridge, but hoping a software update from Bluesound will be a fix. Financially I have to wait, I just paid income tax and property tax and my wallet has an e...
Bluesound Node 2 producing distortion and dropouts
I got a response from Bluesound and they suggested a different cable, but I really think that is not the culprit as I have been  using this Kimber D-60 for a few years. I see that the upgrade donlp33 mentioned 3.20.49 is coming but I can't seem to...
