Mark Knopfler Shangri La on sa-cd
I have only heard one song but you can't go wrong w/Knopfler. Have you heard John Fogerty's new release? Knopfler does a guest appearance but the mix has Fogerty drowning him out. By the way Fogerty was not up to par on this release. Pass if the o...
McIntosh .. One step back
Contact AudioClassic.com they specialize in MCIntosh used and refurb. Great people to do business with. Second teh MC352 I have one and love it. Many pre ampos to look at the C712 is a good peice if you don't have a lot of gear to hook up. I think...
McIntosh C39 noise
I never had a hiss, but when I had a C39 I went nuts trying to find a phono pre-amp to work with the C39. I tried about 7 units before I found the Naim Stageline and Hi-Cap power supply to no create a hum. McIntosh told me it was EFI/RFI and to tr...

Patricia Barber - New Live CD

Linn Ikemi still viable at 4k
I have had my Ikemi for about 2 years now and love it. I recently took it a local audio shop to compare it with the Ecsoterc DV50 playing at full up-sample and the Escoteric then could be a contender with the Ikemi. But it took upsampleing at 700 ...

Need opinion for Pioneer Elite DV-47Ai?
I tries the 47ai before I bought theMarantz DV8400 but am waiting to upgrade the Marantz as well. The legato-link d/a conversion system Pioneer uses is a great D/A and has a warm analog sound.
Upgrading from Receiver to Separates
If you like the Rotel sound why not go with Rotel Pre-Pro amd amp. Otherwise it's a try till you buy.
Classe or McIntosh
One thing with McIntosh is that if you don't like them you can usually get what you paid for them re-selling them.
Hardwoodfloors and Spikes
I have a freind that has great results with "quarters" nickels might work but resting the spike into the quarter is a pretty good deal because the spike actually digs into the copper and the quarter rim seems to hold it in place
