Hearing/Tinnitus FYI (caveat emptor)
I must have top grade tinnitus-it's just on  all the time.
What's with website?
Wow! Tough crowd. As mentioned the dealers up in here should essentially stay out of forums. Manufacturers should be doing their homework elsewhere. Seems like just a few of them know how to stay  neutral regarding their own business interests ...

Law of Accelerated Returns
The room acoustics played a huge factor with those setup you perceived as SOTA. You can get your setup reasonably close with room layout /speaker placement.
Help me solve another speaker hum thread :)
"Sonus Faber Aida’s with 2x McIntosh MC901 monoblocks." Con$iderable investment there... Noticeable hum at ANY level except at neurotic audiophool distance(press ear against the speaker) would not be acceptable IMO. Get your dealer involved, h...
External phono stage for Luxman 509x

Ian McDonald of King Crimson and Foreigner dies at 75 RIP
Ian has returned to "The Court of the Crimson King." My favorite cut from the LP which he wrote. He is playing the cool break with the mellotron/flute in the piece. Played LOUD last night.
Swapping Kt88 tubes on muzishare x7 for Kt150

Do you trust your system?
"I think that worrying about the performance of your system after you have dedicated the necessary effort to dial it in (which may take time) is a symptom of audio nervosa" whart pretty much summed things up. Get your setup optimized including t...

Power regeneration - good idea? PS audio?
PP's are something to put on the list after you're convinced you did all the baseline essentials to dialing in SQ. Dedicated line/decent receptacle before considering all the other madness. Your alternative choice is "power conditioning" or what...
Power regeneration - good idea? PS audio?
"Also since the P 15 is being used to re-create an electrical signal why would there be a need to attach it to the wall with a very expensive power cable?" Definitely any "audio mystery" as to why we PP users  get the fancy cable to power it. I h...
Cleaning Your Turntable
I'm a thrill seeker. Accessory brush attached to hose on the vacuum cleaner. It appears to loook a disaster waiting to happen, but just a little added awareness while is necessary. For advanced audiophools only. "We all know how sensitive the T...
High end cartridge
Include the Audio Technica ART9 for the $1K MC cartridge catagory. Search the archives to see all the praise from the users(including myself) and how it performs well above its price point. The AT OC9 series(a step down the line) is also worth a...
Proposal:
I'll contribute my amp suggestion to the unneeded car audio forum thread Milbert  vacuum tube car amps https://milbert.com/ I heard a full setup years ago, and was blown away by the performance. I don't mean silly loud, thumping but convincing ...
