Integrated Amplifier for Sonus Faber Guarneri Evolution
A used Diablo 300! Power, finesse and great bass.
Integrated for Martin Logan Electrostatics
Gryphon Diablo 300, very stable into low impedance loads, or wait til october when the new Diablo 333 will be available.
The ”sweetspot” in the Nordost line of cables
Thanks, the Frey 2 speaker cables was an improvement over my AQ Argent SCs but not a night and day difference. The Tyr 2 SC is more than twice the price of the Frey 2, perhaps a Tyr 2 IC with Frey 2 SC would be a good combo for far less money tha...
cost no object integrated amps
The Diablo 300 is already a great integrated but I’m looking forward to hear the new Diablo 333.
user poll on seperates vs integrated
I’d also say it depends on the level of integrated you are looking at. I agree, there are many truly high-end integrated amps to choose from. I went from separates to a Diablo 300. The new Diablo 333 will probably be even better.
Nordost Frey2 vs Tyr2
@akg_ca I have had the Frey2 Sc on loan for a week now but I can not hear any brightness, actually they sound a bit softer than my current AQ Argent. Very tight and articulate bass which also is a bit more powerful than the AQ’s. I will also try a...
Nordost Frey2 vs Tyr2
@akg_ca Thanks. I fully understand that the Valhalla is a fantastic cable but it’s way to expensive. Twice the price of my Magnepan speakers!!!
Thinking of Magnepan ... finally!
-- i versions imo add a noticeable degree of warmth and weight to the sound that my ears very much appreciate   @jjss49 How big would you say the difference in bass is between the 3.7 and 3.7i?
Amp Around 60 lbs Which Sounds Like A Gryphon 300
@arafiq Thanks, I have heard the Int 250 at a dealer and I own a Diablo 300 (driving Magnepan 3.7’s) but I was curious how the Pass compares to the Gryphon. Never heard an Aavik.

@arafiq How did the 120 compare against the Int 250?
Finally added Accuphase to my collection
@dwest1023 I’ve heard a lot of good things about the danish Diablo 300/Dynaudio combo.
Finally added Accuphase to my collection
@dwest1023 My impressions mirror yours. I preferred the Pass, found the E800 a bit too polite. Ended up with a Diablo 300.
Finally added Accuphase to my collection
@dwest1023  How did the Accuphase 380 compare to the Int 250? I have heard the E800 against the Int 250.
Gryphon Diablo 300 or Pass Labs Int-250 to Sonus faber Amati Tradition
@habermas If memory serves both were launched in 2015.
Gryphon Diablo 300 or Pass Labs Int-250 to Sonus faber Amati Tradition
Since the Amati drops below 4 ohms in the bass I would go for the Diablo 300 which has much more current capability into low impedances than the Int 250.
