LOUSY SOUND AT LIVE CONCERTS
As I read some of these posts I can't help but wonder why no one is demanding " MORE BASS " Kind of funny the speakers used at these concerts probably go down to only 50 Hz. Seems like everyone on agon wants 24 hz or their system sucks...............
Sophia Electric tube quality
I should just add that as good as their tubes are their amplifiers are as good or better...They make a sweet little pair of 300B mono blocks that I used to drive a pair of Tannoy Kensington SE's to rock and roll volume in a large room with 10 foot...

Starting a new dedicated HT

Need help with a Tube PREAMP.
You might check out the deHavilland UltraVerve. Dagogo has a nice review that compares it to other more expensive preamps like Shindo and Allnic. Worth a read. dagogo.com/boppin-down-memory-lane-preampsI fell in love with the UltraVerve when I fir...
what are the Best Direct to amps Digital Players ?
RrogDon't forget now: " Reaching down to the lowest octave creates a realism in music not otherwise experienced. Even though the fundamental note may only go down to 40Hz there are overtones reaching far below giving music the proper foundation. ...
1 tonearm 2 cartridges
I would just get a new table that would accept two tone arms. Plenty of arm choices out there. Then you could compare the performance of the new arm to your existing.
How to select a subwoofer
It sounds like you feel you need something more from your system. I always ask my customers to try to identify what it is. Systems may just not connect with people, they may not be involving, drawing the listener in and inviting more time be spent...
