Looking for a sub $2K integrated to pair with the Focal Aria 936 or 906.
What kind of sound are you looking for?  What’s important to you?

The Anthem MRX-1120 is a receiver so it does all amplification as well as all the signal processing in one box, and given that it worked well in the review mentioned previously it may well be all you need.  If you want to go the separate amp route...
Hi-res streaming on Qobuz
If the rPlay downsamples hi-res recordings, time for a new streamer IMHO.  Also, if you haven’t already done so, make sure your settings in Qobuz are set to deliver 24/192 or whatever sampling rate you’re looking for.  If you have it set at 16/44 ...

We are really hoping for a theater quality experience with the audio that is powerful and responsive. Whether it be movies or concert blu-rays we want to have a great experience, not a good one.Given what you’re looking for I thought of ATC speake...

Yeah, Elliott’s getting a bit into the weeds here whereas I think you’re looking for more of an overall general sound approach at this point. Before going any further, is this system only for home theater or is 2-channel music also of importance? ...
New speakers but old Rotel Amp
For a tube amp I think you’d be thrilled with Don Sachs KT88 amp, and he offers a trial period so you can try at home, which is obviously huge. For solid state, there’s a McCormack DNA-125 on eBay for about $1k.  Have it sent to SMcAudio for full m...
What was your most fun and rewarding upgrade?
Moving from living room to basement as a dedicated listening room.  I can put speakers wherever they sound best, it’s isolated from rest of house, and cement floors much better for sound — especially bass — than suspended wood floors.
New speakers but old Rotel Amp
my wife heard so many new layers of the music she actually said the speakers were definitely worth the money and was interested in it sounding even better.Hot damn!  You married well.  Would be most helpful in making a specific recommendation if y...
Sound Loss
Do you have the center channel volume level set correctly relative to L/R?  Also, check sound settings menu to see if you have some funky sound processing enabled.  How does it sound in 2-channel/stereo mode?  If that sounds ok it’s probably a set...
During this isolation, I would be interested in suggestions of great movies you like.
I’ll just try to add some quality comedy to your life...Slap shot - Paul Newman, comedy, hockey, nuff said. Life of Brian - Monty Python’s best IMHOBest in Show - I generally don’t watch movies with animals, but...
Sound Loss
Do you mean you just lose sound or does the whole unit lose power and go dark?
Good economical used DAC to hunt down
Not sure you necessarily need to resort to an older or used DAC.  A new Topping E30 DAC with separate P50 power supply would be less than $300 and give you great sound.  Best of luck.
DAC vs Tube CDplayer
Yeah, this new-fangled digital streaming nonsense is obviously going nowhere, so why even bother with a stupid DAC?  Good call.
Your most indispensable "tweak"?
OP - jumpers are just a pair of mini cables about 3” long with banana speaker connectors on the ends that bridge the left and right upper and lower binding posts.  IME they don’t need to be the same as the speaker cable you’re using — they just ne...
Thinking about getting a R2R DAC
I don't think simply going to an R2R DAC is going to bring you the sonic nirvana you are looking for. +1 @dannad — I think you’re much more likely to achieve the sound you’re looking for by going with an R2R DAC with NOS.  Further, going with a tu...
