I expect that if I led you blindfolded into 10 rooms of my choice on any given night..........you could not tell me which room had the $180,000 speakers, and which room had the $10,000 speakers.Dave

Just as a test, place it on something around 24"-26" high in front of the TV and run Audyssey.I've had a few problems with my center channel measurements a few times also.Dave
Strange Audyssey reading on center speaker
Probably related to the location of the center channel speaker in the room. You may need to move it left/right/up/down....or all of these?A lot of center channel speakers are located at the half way point.......not a good place.Dave

System versus live
Probably a good test would be someone like Patricia Barber. Her recordings are very well recorded, and she performs at the Green Mill Lounge in Chicago often.Huge concert hall stuff just does not down size.Dave

Great music! I like Getz, and I play Cafe Montmartre all the time.........MELLO. I do not have this one.....thanks, and I'll check it out soon.Dave
System versus live
MceljoYes, a very small recreation is very possible. A single artist (maybe two). I think VMPS does this at all the shows for the last few years....although their show room is "much" larger than almost all home audio rooms would be.Dave
