Is usb reclocking necessary?
I have an Innuos Zenith mk 3 with the reclocker. It only made a slight difference in my system. I think the key is how good your DAC’s USB implementation is. I run a Terminator Plus which is known to have a great USB input.  We all tend to look fo...

@mahler123 +1 well said and very funny! @tonywinga Great Recommendations!
Innuos Pulsar - Some Interesting Info for Innuos Owners
Of course he will say that.  Could be true but he also wants to sell equipment.  I have a Zenith Mk 3 with reclocker with the sense app and like it a lot .  When will I upgrade? When next Statement comes out in a year or two.  I'm looking for bigg...
About ready to give up on Roon and my streamer
Roon has the best user interface in the business but IMO depending on streamer/server used not the best sound quality.  I use Innous Sense app with Zenith mk 3 with fabulous results.
Do I really Need a Digital to Digital Converter?
NO!
Dan D'Agostino S250 MxV enough power for Wilson Audio Alexia V
I had the Alexia in my system.  Rarely did it need more than 35-60 watts to drive them to 85-90db  sound level.  So yes the Dan will be more than adequate.
Classe vs Luxman any thoughts on the Stereo power amps?
I own both the  CT-M600 and Delta mono blocks.  Can't speak to Luxman.  Both companies are now owned by a conglomerate. I love my amps! The Delta's are better than the M600. Both amps got rave reviews and their specs are ideal.  That said I don't ...
Advice on Speaker upgrade vs System Component Upgrade
I would upgrade your speaker to a floor stander which will have better frequency integration than an sat/sub. brand is your preference.  I love Wilson.  Just upgraded from Alexia (with two subs) to Alexx V (no sub) and realized big SQ improvements.
Was the upgrade from Alexia 1 to Alexx V worth it?
@mgattmch In the January 2022 Issue of HiFi News Ken Kessler also reviewed the Alexx V and said "It’s dangerous to say these words, but here goes... the Alexx V is the best damned speaker I have ever heard." and gave it a 95%. Having lived with th...
Perlisten D212 Subs (2) in the house.
@thyname Yes and no go.  The bass on the Allexx V is so low, articulate, and fast that I felt the D212 muddled things up.  They are now in my HT system.  Replaced my pair of M&K 350's that were 20 years old.
Perlisten D212 Subs (2) in the house.
@thyname Obvious first step. Just wondering how a sub that goes down to 15Hz at best will interact with the floor stander that goes to 20 Hz. My room acoustics are good with little to no standing wave problems. As to appropriate crossover frequen...
Perlisten D212 Subs (2) in the house.
Just installed the Alexx V's and temporarily took out the subs. The bass is wonderfully detailed and provides plenty of low end energy in my room.  Wondering if I even need the subs?  May move them into the HT to replace my M&K 350 subs that a...
Perlisten D212 Subs (2) in the house.
@velcro22 I have been very pleased with the D212 subs paired with my Wilson Alexia.  Have them set a 45 HZ Low Pass Filter.  My Alexx V's arrive tomorrow.  After break-in I will let you know how the subs sound.  Suspect I will be lowing the Low Pa...

Choice between Wilson Audio Alexx or the Alexia V
I currently own the Alexia 1 and have new Alexx V's arriving in a week or so.  I'm also very curious about the SQ delta. I love the Alexia which I have paired with two Perlisten D-212 subs.  Both of these speakers require similar amp current as th...
