I spoke with Brian several weeks ago.  He said he won't be in this region as originally thought unfortunately.
At wits' end with radio through the speakers!
I have noticed after purchasing a Manley Chinook SE MK2 I am hearing  radio stations. However, it is only coming through when the tonearm is sitting on the tonearm rest. Once I lift it up it stops. In addition, like the original post my previous p...

I recently purchased a Manley Chinook SE MK 2. It is quite good in my opinion.  Before that I had Musical Fidelity MX VINYL.  At the $1000 price point it is fantastic but felt the need to upgrade once and for all.  I do agree play the best LPs pos...

No problem Tablejockey.  Never took it in a condescending way.  Fine tuning our investments going down this vinyl rabbit hole seems like a decent idea to squeeze out the best performance and piece of mind.  Especially considering the reviews I'm r...

A friend of mine drove his 3.7s with a Audio Research Ref 110 tube amp. Sounded wonderful. He decided to sell it and downsize and now the Ref 110 is driving my 2.7 with no issues at all. Best amp I have owned. The Ref 150 is supposed to have a bet...

Phonostage recommendations under $3K
Maybe consider a Manley Chinook SE MKII from Upscale Audio.  I love mine and it was a huge step up from my last phono pre.  The Sutherland 20/20 with LPS from what I have read is very good also.

Classic 3 and Manley Labs Chinook SE MK 2 preamp.  Keep the Dyna 20x2.  Upscale Audio will discount the Chinook. It is a VERY good preamp. Just my 2 cents  :)
