If you can't hear the difference between bitstream and lossless Longhorn you probably aren't playing the recordings back correctly. There is a major difference in quality.

3D is here to stay I'm sure until holographic TV takes it's place. I have a couple of 3D movies that I have watched on the TV and DVD player I now own.

I'm sure Teac/Esoteric will probably be around in one form or another for a while but Oppo has been around for ten years or more and offers great players at reasonable prices.

So what Kijanki. You can copy the CD layer to your computer and play back the SACD layer on your SACD player, in surround if you wish in lots of cases. Cds will become obsolete too some day soon.

Alan Parsons: Original or Remastered CDs?
The originals are lackluster. I never bought many of them because the vinyl sounded so much better. The vinyl still sounds better but the remasters are closer with much improved bass and clarity. I think all of the early AP stuff sounds just a lit...
