Fast/Slow fuse?
If you need a slo-blow a fast blow will burn out when the device is turned on. A slo-blow will not protect a device that calls for a fast-blow. You should always use the type of fuse the device calls for. 
I need tunes at work
If you can't take an iPod to work you could use a USB drive and put some of your own music on it and simply plug it into the puter and play it back. You could also download iTunes but would take up space on the office computer.

Does it do it with all DVDs? Most older widescreen DVDs are not anamorphic and if the player is set for anamorphic or compressed mode it will not let you change the screen size. The TVs's remote should have a resize button that will fix it.

Why not just set the processor to stereo when listening to music?
