Miles Davis Newbe Question I'd also recommend a live recording as well, such as, "In Person Friday and Saturday Nights at the Blackhawk, Complete". Great music, easily accessible, and terrific sonics.

whats the finest recorded cd you've heard? Husk01, no. I don't know that one. This is titled "Sahib Shihab and the Danish Radio Jazz Group", on OKTAV, OKCD 1111. BTW, I also picked up Sahib's "Companionship - Jazz Joint, Vol. 2", on Schema/Rearward, RW 119. Also excellent music and sonics....
2k budget for Amp Jaymark - Yes! First 20 are class A. Perhaps that's why it sounds so terrific (smooth). First 10 are Class A in the 350, which is why I recommend the 550. Maybe don't need 250+ watts, but 20 Class A watts are well appreciated.
2k budget for Amp Would you mind a powerful (+250wpc), great sounding, U.S.-built, well-built, trouble free amp from a well-established company which has terrific customer service, one whose owner often answers the phone, and runs Class A for the first 20 watts? If...
