Marshall Tucker Band-Anyone else get them?
I like their first release best - it is phenominal (IMO). Each release afterwards I like less and less. So much less that I have only kept their first. But I find this true of many bands - their first release being their best (IMO).

New Amplifier
Bass and drum punch a plenty with my Van Alstine Fet Valve Ultra 550. Good to 2 ohms! If you live near Atlanta I'll bring it over for you to try if you wish.

Ditto Markpao. Or more likely my wife will donate it to the local Humane Society. Some luck schlep will get a pair of $5k speakers for $25. 
Single vs Dual Subs
Get the best sub you can afford now. Get another later if you don't have enough $$ left over ...I wanted 12" drivers minimum for my sub(s) so I was only able to purchase one - the best 12" sub I could find. It helped a lot, filling in the last oct...
