Recommendations for my less than ideal setup
I second the Gallo recommendation - huge sweetspot and very good imaging. Don't take up much floor space, either.
best amp for Revel Studio speakers
The Revels really like to see some power and current. The Proceed HP amps are known to work exceedingly well with those speakers.-RW-
The best "imaging" speakers?
The best imaging speakers I ever heard were KEF 105.2s - spooky good. But the sweet spot was about 1 foot wide, move your head and the soundstage shifetd or collapsed.-RW-
Classe and Emotiva ?
Give the Emotiva amps a try, the company does offer a 30 day in-home trial. I've heard that they also make the amps for Sunfire...-RW-

which tube amp to try???
If you can stretch that budget just a smidge, there is a terrific Butler Audio TDb-2250 on Audiogon right now for $1600/obo. Read up on these amps, they are marvelous...http://www.audiogon.com/cgi-bin/cls.pl?ampstube&1237072924&/Butler-225...
Just Starting..Budgeting up to 1K for next upgrade
I'm thinking that I would upgrade the speakers, much more bang for the buck there...-RW-
Swap my klipsch heresy's for Ohm walsh 2
Keep your Heresys.Depending upon where you are located, you might want to come by and take my Walsh 2s off my hands - free. I have not used them in years, bought them at salesman's comp price back in the 80s. Match-grain oak. Cabinets are fairly g...
Different grades of Optical cables?
Unless you're making a very long run, glass or plastic isn't going to make much (if any) difference. Don't sweat it...-RW-
Gallo 3.1 vs. B&W 804 vs. faber grand piano
I have an all-Gallo surround sound system and thoroughly enjoy it. The speakers are very fast, sweet, smooth, and clear. Try to stay within the Reference line, the timbre-matching is very important in a surround sound system. I originally had the ...

which amp to go with?
What question are you asking - you did not phrase it very well? Also, knowing a little bit about your speakers, room, sources, etc. would be most helpful...-RW-
Latest Pre Pro with all the new codecs
Emotiva UMC-1, to be released "any day now"...At $699 it is going to seriously embarrass some very well-respected names (think Krell, Cary, Bryston, etc.) It gets my vote for Product of the Year, 2009...-RW-
2 channel amp to upgrade Pioneer Elite Receiver
How about a hybrid? You'll get the solid state low end with the sweetness that only tubes can provide. Take a good look at the Butler TDB-2250s you see here on Agon, that is an extremely good amp for reasonable money...-RW-
I have a martin logan cinema ctr... Need match
Stick with Martin-Logan in order to maintain the same timbre. The matching of the center to the fronts is exceptionally important in order to achieve a seamless transition...-RW-
