What isolation feet under your amp with great result? @whitestix I used the cork ones for a long time. However, I have found that the EVA pads work a bit better than the cork. Either way, you’ll likely achieve the results you want at a fraction of the price of the "audiophile" sanctioned isolation fo...
What isolation feet under your amp with great result? Try these, which are one of the dirty little secrets in audio. They work perfectly, won’t break the bank, and don’t soften the sound. I use them under all of my components.https://www.supplyhouse.com/DiversiTech-MP-2E-EVA-Anti-Vibration-Pad-2-x-2-...
Charging A Fee To Demo An Amplifier In A Brick & Mortar Store @skypunk ... And, that's likely why he's still stuck with super expensive amps that he can't move.
Got a BAT VK-225se ... Holy Moly! @stereo-one ... I think any bass bloom with the VK-225SE is due to having matched the amp with a SS preamp. I have never had luck matching SS with SS. In my case, I have an older VK-3i tube based preamp which works very well with the SS power amp....

You’re making the guy pay for a demo in YOUR listening room with YOUR equipment and YOUR cables, most or all of which are different from that of the customer. He now has realized that he can’t sell them quickly, so he’s put them in storage and is trying a fire sale, but the custom...
Charging A Fee To Demo An Amplifier In A Brick & Mortar Store Look, given the size and cost of those amps, the dealer should have them set up already for demo. If he can't because of space considerations, then he shouldn't have them in the first place. Certainly, he knew or had reason to know, whether he bou...
Charging A Fee To Demo An Amplifier In A Brick & Mortar Store A misconception here is that these are $60K amps. They are NOT! They’re $17K used amps with about 800 hours on them. It’s doubtful that anyone would tire kick these and go buy them elsewhere given the huge discount which, in and of itself, would g...
Charging A Fee To Demo An Amplifier In A Brick & Mortar Store These amps already have 800 hours on them, AND you have to buy speakers with them if you want the $2K discount. They have a lot of chutzpah charging for an in-store demo given the circumstances.
Turned Off My Subwoofer ... And My Speakers Sound Great @allears4u ... I can relate to the constant futzing around with the sub settings. Ugh!
Turned Off My Subwoofer ... And My Speakers Sound Great @prof One of the things of concern is the issue of losing the character of the Pulsars by using the sub. For example, I've been advised repeatedly by some audio industry bigwigs to plug the rear port of the Pulsars when using the subwoofer xover. ...
