Bob Crump passes away over holiday. i've been thinking of what to write about bob for a few days, as it takes time for such finalities to sink in.as are us all, i'm obviously quite sad about bob's death, but i'm not at all surprised. even after his stroke, he was not going to be den...

Watt/Puppy owners...help busted binding post... how did this happen? are you one of the competitors for "worlds strongest man"? WPs are built quite well, i've diffficulty thinking anyone could pull the posts apart.IMO, while apart, i'd simply solder in something better...use some wonder solder ...
do any wilson watt puppy 7 owners put isolation finite elemente cerabase / cerapucs are quite nice under my WP6s, and the wood floors are fine. ---cerabase is preferable for height adjustment, which cerapucs lack.rhyno
Spike or decouple ? decouple in which plane? IME, decoupling in the horizontal afforded noticable benefits vs spikes. haven't tried decoupling in the vertical as of yet.horizontal decouplers: finite element footers, rollerblocks, et al....which all couple verticallyv...

Speakers for a small room i'm in a smaller room than you, 15*11*8, and w/ speakers on 11' wall, with sufficient taming of 1st & 2nd reflections, i'm getting excellent sound w/ WP6s. your room isn't that small. but planars have trouble in smallish rooms.
Opinions on Belles 350A & Conrad Johnson MF2500 owned the 350a, and a CJ 2100 (100wpc).CJ has a nice house sound, and gives example to the phrase "mosfet mist". also the 2100 had decent bass.the 350a was markedly better in about every regard than the 2100; i recall laughing when i heard how muc...
A brutal review of the Wilson Maxx you realize, the most relevant and credible party here isn't getting the attention they deserve; their opinion on speaker preference and musicality should be duly noted by those who are considering what the skinny is on wilsons.i cite: fremer's wi...

Would you buy speakers with out first listening ? based on experience: never again.bought merlin VSM-Ms and soundlab U2s w/o hearing them first. never warmed up to either, despite their reputations and proponents. heard my current WP6s years before i bought them. buying them was the best purchase...
