Upgrade to AMR DP-777 SE or look elsewhere
For 1400.00 upgrade and repair I’d fix it.
Tried CD player Cary 300/300 and LOVED it, now what?
I’ll stick to my recommendation of the Bluesound Vault 2.  There are no listings on AudioGon for Bluesound and they sell a lot of product.  That indicates a whole bunch of satisfied owners.

Ok let’s establish a budget.  Then how about a list of the dacs that you’ve tried with the Cary as a transport.  Did you like any of them in specific areas vs the Cary?  So, it sounds like nothing you’ve tried so far has wowed you enough to abando...

Why buy another complete player?  Keep the Cary, purchase a digital cable, and there’s a boat load of separates dacs to chose from.  Then whatever you choose you can compare directly against the Cary with its internal dac.
Pricing a Linn CD player that's not in the Bluebook
Price it cheap.  Linn doesn’t offer any repair or parts support for CD players just so you know.
Please help me find perfect dac for me
Lowrider, which Chord dac did you have?  I have the Hugo which is battery powered and much prefer the sound in pure battery mode with the charger unplugged from the wall whilst listening.

Chord Hugo2 meets all of your requirements or for less money the new Qutest but it only comes in black.  Reviews in UK magazine Hi Fi Choice.

Node 2 has digital outs so you can use your external dac.  You can use the analog and digital outs at the same time.  Connected to separate inputs on your preamp you can compare and enjoy a different experience between the two dacs.

A little confused on how to properly integrate my sub
Tithe -3 dB point for the LS 50 is 79hz.  Just let them roll off naturally and use the REL as the manufacturer intended.  You’re headed in the wrong direction.
DEDICATED CD PLAYER $1K AND UNDER, THOUGHTS?
It’s not that bad.  Do a few everyday. Put your favorites in first so you can listen almost right away like on the first day.  Plus you get Radio Paradise commercial free which is great.  Then there is page after page of commercial internet statio...
DEDICATED CD PLAYER $1K AND UNDER, THOUGHTS?
My advice is to save up another $200.00 and copy all your cd’s to a Bluesound Vault 2.  No more CD player period!  All your cd’s can get stored in your closet. The Vault does require a wired internet connection which most people have, but if you do...
Bluesound Vault 2
It’s not a CD player so I don’t believe you can listen to the cd you are ripping at the same time.  You should be able to listen to already stored cd’s or stream during the process of ripping.  I can’t verify since I never tried it, just a matter ...
Bluesound Vault 2
My average time per cd into the Vault was about 8 minutes.  Just add as many as you feel like each day.  It’s not that hard to do.  Put your favorites in first. In in the mean time you can listen to your favorites plus there’s Radio Paradise which ...
Converting cd's to high resolution audio
I concur with uberwaltz.  The Vault 2 will do everything you asked.  The storage capacity is more than enough for most people.  I put in approximately 700 cd’s as FLAC files which barely touched what is available. The Vault is super easy to use an...
