Is it all worth it?
Is it all worth it?  The short answer is yes.  It's the ritual we enjoy as well as the sound.  The digital as well. It's phenomenal. However the experience is completely different.

Turntable isolation platforms
It's definitely acoustic feedback.  If I rest needle on record and turn up volume I get rumble.  I then had a friend apply pressure to rack and the rumble stopped.  I need to isolate TT better

What’s your vote for the most ridiculous, overpriced, and useless tweak?

Just wanted to thank everyone for their input.  Here's an update:. I purchased Harrison labs 30Hz high pass plugs and although it allows me to play it a little louder the rumble still occurs at about the 2 o'clock position.  Once again not playing...
Recommend Affordable Integrated Amps (Solid State or Tube)
Check out the Musical Fidelity M6si...its a powerhouse with a great design.  Its solid state but has a smooth punchy delivery that I enjoy. Its design is basically two mono blocks inside one chassis.  Havent tried the phono stage but also use Musi...

Feeling the need to tinker and possibly get more detail and soundstage from my records.
