| Parasound service problems Forget it, you are not going to get any where with Parasound. I tried to get parts for an HCA-2200 over the phone and got the run around. They really need to step up their game if they want to remain competitive and maintain customer loyalty. | |

| Ahhh--Problem solved. Adding a REL sub-bass unit... Ahh you are correct and Paul McGowan recommends using the subs high level inputs ( speakers wires in and out) of the sub so it takes on the same characteristics as your other speakers and provides a more seamless sound. | |

I think it is worth mentioning that the OP's Audible Illusions L-1 preamp has a gain control and a master volume control. So one can set the perfect amount of gain for the amp and then use the master volume control there after. |
