Warm Tube Amp(s) to Tame Hyper-Accurate Speakers?
Even Spendor D9.2 drivers would benefit from grounding wires. Don't believe me? That's okay, but do try it and I'm sure you'll be bewildered and amazed. Those troublesome sources that sound harsh will suddenly be fine.

Audiophile Speakers for Rock, HipHop and Techno
pwayland In my opinion, My Modified JBL 4312 MKII with properly dialed in sub are my choice for really loud rock. And yes, I'll hook them up when I'm in the mood. Otherwise, Dunlavy... Care to share your mods?
How accurate are cable descriptions for your system?
lalitk I prefer cable brands that are tuned to convey the music in most natural way without emphasizing any elements of a recording. Well now, is it even possible to tune a speaker cable? Surely it's not the job of a cable to emphasise or supr...

Higher amperage fuse for sound quality
The purpose of a fuse is to protect the equipment so it can't draw too much current. For whatever reason, be it too loud or a component failure. I certainly wouldn't exceeding specifications. A slow-blow fuse could be an option in certain circums...

Ps audio aspen FR 30 Loudspeakers
I’ve never had any respect for PS Audio - over hyped and under performing. As for that crossover - nothing special there and as for claiming years of development. I’m sure anyone who mods crossovers would use superior components. Anyone interest...
Speakers: Anything really new under the sun?
I agree that resonances can never be fully eliminated but they can be lowed so they have negatable impact. Here's what I use: Mundorf Twaron Angel Hair Well worth investigating along with a sound deadening covering of all internal surfaces to ...
Speakers: Anything really new under the sun?
Mine are connected to a Russ Andrews RF Router Plug-in.
Speakers: Anything really new under the sun?
Cabinet resonances are an entirely different matter which can be reduced with better internal lining of all surfaces and filling the enclosure with sound absorbing material.
