An Objective Review of the Tekton Double Impact Speakers
The only right we have is that the government will not limit religion or free speech. Audiogon, like most forums, is owned by a private entity and they can moderate it as they see fit. You or I won’t always agree with their process,  but it’s not ...
Raven Blackhawk LE... am I going to be disappointed?
This thread has had more "posts removed" than actual posts. How sad...........
Table for your Turntable? Show ‘em offf!
This site is from the 90s. EVERY other forum has provisions to insert pictures in posts. Ancient tech here.Oz

I'm not sure you are giving any of these speakers time to break in before you pass judgement.

What's sad is that no one got my ebm tribute............
Is D for Dry? Class D...
@dougeyjones Your system profile says more than your posts. I'd say you are very inexperienced from your posting history. It's ok, no need to be ashamed, you too can learn. As for not mastering with tubes, I guess you don't listen to any of the 60s...
Is D for Dry? Class D...
Using tube gear is like using a distortion pedal in an electric guitar setup. They make tons of cool effects to choose from, and they’re all useful in creating music and new sounds. But they have zero relation to accurate reproduction of a sourc...
Tubes for Magnepan’s.
About 20 years or so ago I drove Magnepan 1.6s with a 100 watt Music Reference RM9. This was in a 26 x16 room and it drove them to any level I cared to listen at. I know this isn't a match on paper, but it worked splendidly in the real world. Now ...

Schiit customer service seems poor
@jumia You just have to use electronic equipment with a smidge of common sense. You sound like the reason we have the warning about not using the hair dryer in the bath tub.Oz
Raven Blackhawk LE... am I going to be disappointed?
That's a double edged sword. Yes you get the benefit of relieving small drivers from trying to produce bass, but you also get the downside of having to run the speakers through an inferior crossover on the subwoofer. Personally I like running spea...
Raven Blackhawk LE... am I going to be disappointed?
@b_limo I would never pair such a speaker with 20 watts. Unless you listen to a steady diet of "girl with piano", I think you will be disappointed.BTW, you must be buying used since the Blackhawk LE is no longer in production.Oz
Uber expensive repair at United Radio
I recently had an amplifier valued at ~2500.00 that needed repair. Bill Thalmann quoted me a repair price of 1500.00. I weighed the options and decided to sell the amp back to the manufacturer for a loss. It was a tough pill to swallow but the amp...

No. I briefly owned the Pendragons a few years ago. Not the same caliber as the Moabs from what I understand.

anyway it's fun...I own a pair of 10K dynaudio C60 which sound really awful. Wen i posted my "objective review" regarding my dynaudio experience everyone was saying that i'm crazy or that i have the wrong gear to drive them. BS. By the way i'm w...
